The wooden mosaic picture is crafted from 1/4" wood cubes using 10 different types of natural wood including: pine, white oak, maple, reclaimed oak, zebra wood, jubillo, walnut, mora, brazilian rosewood & wenge
to get this unique effect your chosen photo will be converted to sepia tones and then pixelated. this is what determines the required size of the mosaic picture. once the photo has been processed and options are arranged with you, the pricing is based on the total square footage and color tones of each individual picture. prices range from $1000 (lighter photo content) to $1200 (darker photo content) a square foot. The darker colors in the pictures require more exotic woods, which create a higher price range. in one square foot there is a total of 2304 wooden cubes.
