the colorado flag bird feeder features a hinged roof for easy filling access with metal spindle in front for the birds to perch while eating their favorite seeds.  made with pine beetle kill lumber it is sealed with an exterior acrylic flat finish to maintain the natural wood finish.  it comes with 2 eye hooks attached on each side to attach rope/wire to hang where every you see fit.  this item also available without the white stripe and colorado "c"

since this is an exterior product, it must be maintained.  twice a year it needs to be re-coated.  I recommend spring and fall for treating the wood.  the original finish is Modern Masters Decorative Painter's Exterior Dead Flat Varnish.  it is a water based finish so the item should not yellow.
